Connect Claude to Amazon Seller Central and Amazon Ads

Before you start

• An Agentic Sellar workspace with Seller Central, Amazon Ads or both connected. See getting started.
• The workspace owner role. Only owners can approve a new AI connection.
• A Claude plan with custom connectors. Anthropic lists Free (one custom connector), Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise.

Add the connector on Free, Pro or Max

1. Open connector settings

   In Claude on the web or the desktop app, go to Customize → Connectors and select Add custom connector.

2. Enter the server URL

   Name it Agentic Sellar and paste https://agenticsellar.com/mcp. Leave the OAuth client fields under Advanced settings empty; Claude registers itself with Agentic Sellar automatically.

3. Sign in and choose accounts

   Select Add, then Connect. Claude opens an Agentic Sellar sign-in. Pick the Amazon accounts Claude may use. The consent screen says whether Claude is asking for write access.

4. Use it in a chat

   Turn the connector on for a conversation from the tools menu in the chat input, then ask a question about your Amazon business.

Team and Enterprise workspaces

An Owner adds the connector once under Organization settings → Connectors: choose Add, then Custom, select Web if asked for a type, and enter the same URL. Each member then finds the connector marked Custom under Customize → Connectors and selects Connect to sign in with their own Agentic Sellar account. Agentic Sellar still checks each member’s workspace role and account grants on every call.

Claude Code

Add the server from the command line, then authenticate inside a session:

claude mcp add --transport http agentic-sellar https://agenticsellar.com/mcp

Run /mcp in Claude Code and choose agentic-sellar to complete the browser sign-in.

Claude chooses tools from the request. Naming the account, marketplace and date range gives it everything it needs in one turn.

• Which Sponsored Products campaigns spent the most in the last 7 days, and what was the ACoS of each?
• Request a search-term report for the last 30 days and list the terms that spent money without an order.

Security notes

• Claude never receives your Amazon credentials. It holds an Agentic Sellar token that expires after 60 minutes and is refreshed for at most 30 days.
• Write tools are labelled as destructive MCP actions. Review the connector’s tool permissions in Claude and keep write tools on approval so Claude asks before each change.
• Anthropic warns that custom connectors can act in connected services. Only add connectors you trust, and revoke access you no longer use.
• Revoke Claude’s access at any time from Settings → Agent access in Agentic Sellar, as well as removing the connector in Claude.
